Without the five (5) days written notice, the course fees remain payable in full, and a representative of your company may attend the course in your place if you wish. Q. Where are the courses held? A. Our training classes are held at our partner facility in downtown Austin, at the One Congress Plaza on the corner of Congress Avenue and 2nd Street: 111 Congress Avenue, Suite 400 View directions to our training center.
Q. How much practice do I get during the training? A. All of our classes are instructor led and hands-on. The instruction consists of two types of activities; guided instruction and practice lab exercises. In the instructor led activities, the instructor guides the class in an activity that presents new concepts, skills, shortcuts, and/or techniques. The second activity is practice or lab exercises. The students are then given an opportunity to practice on their own the new concepts, skills, shortcuts, and techniques in a practice exercise using real world sample projects.
Q. What materials do I receive with the class? A. Most of our courses come with a student training manual. The training manual lists concepts, procedures, and shortcuts to complete the skills taught in the course. The material presented in the course is documented in the manual so that note taking during the course is minimized and each student can focus on the material being presented. Each student will also receive a CD-ROM that includes example code for completed versions of all exercises in the class and all media used in the training, i.e., graphics, sounds, narration, photographs, and movies. This CD-ROM can be used as a reference or additional practice after the training is completed.
Q. How do I know I have successfully registered for a class? A. You will receive a confirmation of your registration by e-mail providing course details such as course name, location, and date.
Q. When are the course fees due? A. Along with your confirmation, you will also receive an invoice for the course(s), by e-mail unless you request to receive the invoice by another method.
